The Virtual Kampers share their epic car camping checklist years of camping in their Mini Cooper.

Before Lucas and I bought the RV and began full-time travel, we car camped nearly every summer for a decade with our beautiful blue Mini Cooper.

Now, if you’ve been in a Mini Cooper before, you know there is a limited amount of space. Every adventure to a campground required we pack meticulously.

Car Camping Checklist: Camp with a mini cooper

Our Blue Mini! We do miss it sometimes.

To say we played Tetris every single trip is an understatement. Each nook and cranny of the back seat and boot had something tucked into it. Of course, we still see through the back window, but floor space and seat space were all fair game.

The question is: How did we manage it?

Well, we came up with a car camping checklist to pack only the necessities as well as a few luxuries thrown in. It worked though, we never felt like we left anything at home.

So, we’d like to share our epic list with you, and you help shave some years off your own trial-and-error process.
